2. Information provided on this website
Radius & Flyway publishes birding articles, reserve information, fieldcraft guidance, equipment coverage and commentary on habitats and conservation.
We take reasonable care over our work, but the information is general and cannot account for every reader, location or changing field condition. We do not guarantee that every page will always be complete, current or free from error.
Species mentioned in an article or reserve guide are not guaranteed to be present during any particular visit.
3. Outdoor information and personal safety
Birding and other outdoor activities involve risks that cannot be removed by reading a website. Weather, tides, access arrangements, path conditions, wildlife and local restrictions can change quickly.
Before visiting a location, you should:
check current information from the reserve manager, landowner or relevant authority;
consult appropriate weather, tide and travel information;
follow official signs, access restrictions and instructions from wardens;
assess whether the route, conditions and equipment are suitable for you; and
comply with wildlife protection laws and avoid causing disturbance.
Radius & Flyway is not a navigation service, professional guiding service or emergency information provider. Maps, route descriptions and tidal references should not be used as the sole source of safety or navigation information.
4. Availability and changes
We may correct, update, reorganise or withdraw content without notice. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the website or that every link, map, embed or third-party service will remain available.
Where practical, reserve pages provide links to the managing organisation for current access, facilities, prices and restrictions.
5. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that qualification, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Radius & Flyway is not responsible for loss or damage arising from:
reliance on information that has become outdated or incomplete;
changing weather, tides, terrain, access or wildlife conditions;
decisions made by third-party reserve managers, landowners or service providers;
interruption or unavailability of the website; or
use of an external website, map, product or service linked from our pages.
You remain responsible for decisions you make in the field and for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for your circumstances.

Unless otherwise stated, the writing, design, illustrations, photographs, maps and other material on Radius & Flyway are owned by or licensed to Radius & Flyway and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

print or save material for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not reproduce substantial parts of the website, republish complete articles, remove credits, sell our material or systematically extract content for a commercial database, publication or automated service without written permission.
